Thank you! Take A Veteran to School Day Was A Huge Success: Watch CMS Tonight on T.V.

November 10, 2015

Dear Triton Families,

Today was another exceptional day of learning and lifelong memories as we honored our brave men and women who have served, or are currently serving, in the military forces.  Students, faculty, and guests, were be treated as CMS hosted, along with our friends at Time Warner and the History Channel, Take A Veteran to School Day.  This national program was developed to link veterans with students nationwide. Schools and communities invite veterans of all backgrounds to share their stories and receive appreciation for their service.

Events like this are only possible because of our school community.  A huge Triton “Shout-Out” is so deserving for:

  • CMS teacher, Mrs. Amy Steward, for coordinating the entire event!
  • CMS teachers, Miss Brooke Binns and Miss Linda Kullmann and their incredible Choir and Performing Arts students
  • CMS Military Family Life Counselor, Miss Anna Santangelo
  • Mrs. Deann Brown and the Parent Teacher Organization
  • The CMS Faculty and Staff

Also, watch CMS tonight on the local news stations to learn more about this incredible event:

KUSI Channel 9: 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. or http://www.kusi.com/
