Kickoff Carnival Dance Chaperones: We are looking to have 6 parent chaperones for this special event! 5:00 pm check in for information - Granzer Hall. Dance ends at 7:30 pm. If you are interested in chaperoning, please email Kevin Paiz-Ramirez at kevin.paiz-ramirez@coronadousd.net by Tuesday November 1st at 3:00 PM. Parents will be chosen through a lottery system. Grading Period 2: Please remember to periodically check your child’s grades on Haiku.
Chief Petty Officer Finan: We extend our deepest condolences and gratitude for his service and sacrifice to the family and command of Explosive Ordinance Disposal Chief (EODC) Jason Finan. CMS students and staff will line 6th Street at approximately 12:10pm on Nov. 1 to show our respect as the motorcade makes its way to Miramar National Cemetery for final interment.
Take A Veteran to School Day:Parents needed to volunteer and donate breakfast items
Girl Scout Troop: Thank you for your Halloween costumes donations. Their goal is 100 costumes to make 100 kids happy this and next Halloween. They are halfway there. Help them reach their goal by November 4th when the costume drive ends.
KCMS is hosting a Halloween pumpkin contest on Monday. Students may bring their carved pumpkins to be on KCMS on Monday, Halloween. All pumpkins will be displayed in the library, and students may vote for the funniest, scariest, and most creative. Students must pick up their pumpkins after school to take them home for Halloween. Winners will be announced on KCMS on Tuesday!
Lost and Found: Items have been out for the students to claim, and we still have lots left. Stop by this week between 7:45a and 8:00m or after 3:00pm. All unclaimed items will be donated to a needy cause on Friday afternoon at 4:00pm
