Principal Update: October 10-13, 2017

October 10, 2017

Dear Triton Families,

This week’s Growth Mindset quote:  “Let go of the past and keep moving forward.” Walt Disney

 Quote provided by Olivia Hunter

This week’s Key:  This is it!

This Is It! is about focusing on NOW instead of later, or next week, or next month, or next year, or yesterday, etc., and making the most of it. A positive This Is It! attitude can make everything we do and every day productive, fulfilling, and fun.

Take a Veteran to School Day | November 8th 7:20am – 10:00am

CMS is looking to fill 44 speaker slots for homerooms for our 9th Annual Take a Veteran to School Day. We love all veterans -- those who serve or have served. Two veterans are assigned to a classroom, and each is asked to speak for 20 minutes. There will be a combined Q and A for about 10 minutes following the speakers. Veterans may bring photographs or artifacts. Active duty are asked to wear their uniform. Speakers are invited to join us for breakfast and a presentation at 7:20am. Please email Amy Steward if you or someone you know would like to speak in a classroom. Please send the speaker’s name, service, email, phone number and mailing address to Amy.
