Coronado Pop Warner Varsity Cheer TeamPosted by: Karin Mellina 3 years, 2 months ago
The Coronado Pop Warner Varsity Cheer Team is on their way to Orlando for the National Cheerleading Championships. Last month, the team won the local competition with high scores, and then took first place at the regional competition in Phoenix.
This spectacular team started in 2011 when the girls were in 4th grade. The team has grown to 22, and they like to refer to themselves as the "22". The girls practice three times a week and dedicate themselves to working hard both on and off the field. Of the 22, 17 of the girls have qualified for the Pop Warner LIttle Scholars which means they have to have at least a 3.5 GPA.
Coach Tandee Scott is proud of her determined and dedicated team! We wish the girls best of luck in Orlando.Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
