Grading period ends quarter 1
Oct 24 – 28 6th Grade Camp
Grading Period 1 ends on Friday, October 21: Please remember that although the grading period ends on Friday, teachers are still in the process of scoring work until Thursday, Oct 27th. Final/official progress report grades will be available for viewing on Synergy on Friday October 28th.
Parent Teacher Conferences are November 2-4: We look forward to meeting with parents and students during this time and encourage your child to attend this important meeting. Because teachers have 100+ students, we request you only schedule conferences with specific teachers in classes where your child is struggling academically. This year, parents will sign up online through a link that will be posted on our website as well as on each teacher’s PowerSchool/Haiku page. I will be providing you with this link information later this week.

Butter Braid Breads are Back! </>Students will be bringing home information and order forms for this PTO sponsored fundraiser. If you've never had Butter Braid, you don't want to miss out! Order these delicious breads just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday!
Winter Sports registration is now open for the following sports: Girls Softball, Girls Cheer, Girls Soccer, Boys Basketball, Boys Soccer, Coed Golf, Coed Yoga (register under Fitness), Coed Strength and Speed (register under Fitness). Basketball and Soccer have limited numbers, so please register early! All sports require online registration, participation fees and signed online confirmation page. Fall sport participants do not need to resubmit sports physicals, all new participants must submit a sports physical. Visit www.islandersportsfoundation.com to register. Please be sure to select Coronado Middle School as your school in the registration process.

Girl Scout Troop 5548 is collecting gently used HALLOWEEN COSTUMES: Drop off your costumes in the CMS front office until November 4th.
