Federal Survey Cards: They will be sent home on Wednesday, October 3rd, and we need your support in filling it out and returning it with your child on Thursday, October 4th.  If you’d like more information on Federal Impact Aid and how these cards qualify our school to collect funding that supports educational programs for your child, please click on the link. Lockdown Drill:  We will have our first lockdown drill on Friday at 2:00pm.  Throughout the school year we hold fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills to ensure the safety of our students and staff.  Students and families will be notified in advance about some of the upcoming drills, but please know that we will not give advanced notice for all.  CMS will send a message immediately following unannounced drills.


Triton Time (TT):  This Monday marks our third Triton Time.  This week we will focus on developing our classroom community agreements and continuing connecting through circle discussions. Please ask your student to share with you about their experiences during Triton Time.


Take a Veteran to School Day Committee: We need you! Volunteers are needed for our outstanding annual event! Please contact me at if you’re interested. We will have an informational meeting next week. Date and time TBA.


ISF Winter Sports Registration 2018-2019 winter season runs Nov. 13, 2018 though Feb. 8, 2019

Registration is October 1 through November 1, 2018. Students will be placed on teams on a first-come-first served basis. Students must have a completed registration (online, physical form, and payment submitted) to secure a place on a team.

NOTE: you only need to submit one signed physical form per school year. Students cleared to play for Fall sports do not need to submit the signed physical form again for winter sports.


Boy’s basketball (maximum of 36 students): Practices start November 13, 2018.

Boy’s soccer (maximum of 26 students): Practices start November 13, 2018.

Co-ed flag rugby: Days and Times TBD

Co-ed golf: Days and Times TBD at the Coronado Golf Course. Golf clubs recommended but not required. Additional $40 monthly fee for the junior players card purchased at the golf course. No competition.

Girl’s soccer (maximum of 26 students): Practices start November 13, 2018.

Girl’s softball: Days and Times TBD at Green Field (at Village Elementary)

Strength & Speed: held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30pm at the Coronado Fitness Center multi-purpose room. No competition.

Yoga: held Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30pm at the Coronado Fitness Center multi-purpose room. No competition.
