Last Wednesday, Nov. 8th, we celebrated our 9th annual Take a Veteran to School Day. Thank you to all of the veterans and active service men and women who joined us for the event. It was a pleasure to honor and recognize what you do and have done for our country. An enormous thank you to Amy Steward, CMS Teacher, for her tireless efforts in making it a memorable day for all and Ms. Kullmann, Mr. Heinecke and Mr. Ramirez for working with their students to provide music and support. Thank you to the PTO and all of the parents and community members who helped organize the event, and a special thanks to our respectful and courteous students.

ISF-End of Fall Season Awards and Ice Cream Social is Wednesday, Nov. 15th, 5:30p.m., Granzer Hall. We hope to see you all there as we celebrate ALL our athletes on a great season filled with fantastic sport, sportsmanship, and growth.

Attendance Policy and Saturday School: If you are heading out of town early for the holidays, please be sure to sign up for Saturday School. December 4th is our next Saturday School class – Science labs with Mr. Ramirez,
6th Grade Camp is January29-February 2! There will be an information assembly about Camp on December 5, 2018 at 10:30a.m.-11:15a.m. in Granzer Hall. Parents are welcome to attend. The registration and health forms will be sent home the last week in November and are due back on December 8th. Camp is $380 – if you would like to make a donation for student scholarships, please drop it off at the CMS front office. We appreciate your support.
