May 23             CMS Band and Choir Spring Concert at 6:00

May 29             Memorial Day, No School

May 30             All library books due

                        ATTENTION: 8th grade parents CHS PTO Meeting at 6:30pm in CHS Library 

 

Memorial Day: School will be closed on Monday, May 30th in observance of the men and women we have lost while serving our country. Thank you to all of you that serve our great nation.

CAASPP Assessments: Our students have wrapped up state testing!  Thank you, students, for your efforts to demonstrate your achievement and represent our school, and to our staff who coordinated and proctored tests.  

Band and Choir Concert: The spring concert is Tuesday at 6:00pm in Granzer Hall.

Library Books: All books must be returned to the library by Friday, May 30h.  Please be sure to pay any fines for lost or damaged books. 

Homework Club: The last day of Homework Club is Tuesday, June 6th.

CSF Summer Enrichment Classes:

 

Classes are filling up quickly for the Coronado Schools Foundation’s Summer Enrichment Program, July 10-28.  New this summer, CSF is offering both morning (8:30-11:30am) and afternoon (12-3pm) week-long classes, grades K-12, for the three week program.  View the program brochure or visit www.coronadoenrichment.org to learn more. Attention 8th Grade Parents: Coronado High School invites you to their PTO meeting on Tuesday, May 30th at 6:30 PM in the CHS library.  This is an opportunity to meet Principal Moore and parents of CHS students and learn a little about 9th grade at CHS such as their on-campus lunch, clubs and activities, policies, etc., in an informal discussion with time for questions.  

The TALENT SHOW is coming!

We are so excited to have this year’s annual talent show! We are looking forward to showcasing our Triton talents on stage on June 8th! Students will be given their Talent Show Audition Form from their 7th period teacher. They can also pick up a form in the front office! Students audition times will be on the 30th, 31st and 1st to get them stage ready for an incredible show!

 

May 26th: ASB “Soft Serving It Up Friday”! Everyone at CMS will get a free ice cream cone or popsicle from your ASB!
