Thank you, Coronado Schools Foundation, the Spatafore’s, and Blue Bridge Hospitality for the fantastic pizza party. CMS is so grateful for all of the incredibly generous support of the families who donate to CSF so CMS can continue to provide         experiences for our students.


Best Buddies Fundraiser Event: A very special thank you to Heather White, Condra Mullins, Christy Becker, Julia Elasaad, Emily Bosworth, CMS PTO, and event coordinator and CMS special education teacher, Jeremy Handysides, for a successful and fun event! Thank you to everyone who donated to this impactful and inspiring CMS and CHS Club!


Statewide Testing starts for 6th graders:

These assessments provide information about individual students’ areas of strength and growth as well as our instructional program.  We appreciate your support in reminding our students to:

          Get a good night’s sleep

          Have a healthy breakfast

          Be on time – testing starts each day at 8:00am

          Invest in each testing experience and demonstrate their best efforts and skills. 

Thank you for marking your calendars with testing dates and being mindful of scheduling appointments during testing hours of 8-10:30am.

Smarter Balanced Assessment:

6th grade: May 2-9, 2017

7th grade: May11-17, 2017

8th grade Science: May 8-9, 2017

Spring Faire is May 10th 5:30-7:00 We’re celebrating our fifteen year anniversary of Spring Faire. We will have student projects, artwork, and technology on display in classrooms and Granzer Hall.  Our guests will enjoy live performances from the Band, Choir, and Performing Arts students, and a Poetry Jam will take place in the library. KCMS:  A Night at the Oscars,  Friday, May 12th at the CHS Performing Arts Center.  Red Carpet begins at 6:30pm. Films and Awards at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $3 for students, $5 for adults. Tickets will be sold during lunch the week of the Oscars and at the door.  Please bring a device to vote for your favorite films online.
