CMS Performing Arts Presents Bye-Bye Birdie: Tickets are on sale now!  You can purchase them at  Cost is $10 plus service fee.  Seating is General Admission.

Visiting CMS:  As noted in my lockdown drill follow up email last week, we are looking into additional safety procedures which will be implemented over the next several weeks.  It will be important that your child comes to school each day with all of the items needed (lunch, sports equipment, school work, etc.) Entry into the front office will be more restrictive as new security measures are put into place.   

6th Grade Drug Store: In partnership with Coronado SAFE and PTO, students will participate in this experiential program on Tuesday morning. Take a firsthand look into the program

Electives for 2018-2019: The elective form will be sent home on Thursday, and it is due back to period 1 teachers by March 22.  Students who plan to apply for an application elective can pick up those forms in the front office or download them from the Counseling PowerSchool page or website starting Friday.

Promotion events permission slips were sent home last week and are due by April 16th

Jazz Band:  CMS is excited to start an after-school jazz band after Spring Recess.  Rehearsal will be twice a week (days TBD) More information to come from Mr. Heinecke, VES,CMS and CHS Band teacher.

Join the Green Club: Join Amy Youngblood in the garden on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:00.  Whether you want to learn more about gardening, tend to the beautiful CMS garden, or just drop in!


Math Tutoring:  CMS is happy to add an additional day for tutoring.  All students are welcome, however each day will have a specific grade level focus.

Mondays: room 204 Ms. Grimes 8th grade focus

Tuesdays: room 205 Mrs. Sadikeen 6th grade focus

Thursdays: room 209 Mr. Schumeyer: 7th grade focus
