8th Grade Video: It’s a CMS tradition to showcase our 8th graders in an end of year video. We plan to create a video slideshow that includes the whole class and will be shown at CMS 8th Grade Promotion Breakfast. As we enter into these exciting times for our young students, let's not forget how they started their middle school years: campus orientation, 6th Grade Olympics, 6th Grade Camp, Cotillion, Drug Store, Medieval Times etc. To help complete this project, please email 3 JPEG pictures of your student to us. Please ensure they are clear, edited and ready for inclusion in our CMS 8th Grade Promotion end-of-year video. Thank you to Kimberly Schulrud & Doug Grossmann for putting this together!!
The absolute deadline will be May 15, 2020. There will be reminders, but the deadline to produce this quality video of 200+ students is May 15, 2020. We are excited to be a part of this fun production. Send photos and/or questions to: NadoFotography@gmail.com (copy and paste this email address)
Dear 8th Grade Parents,
Preparations are underway for the 8th grade promotion. I’d like to thank our dedicated parent promotion coordinator, Inge Gonzales, for her efforts as she puts together all of the exciting events for our students. Please be aware that over the next several weeks I will be providing you with important promotion information via email and the CMS website. Items will include required permission forms, special field level reserved seating, and other relevant information for promotion. Volunteers are needed for the various promotions activities; 8th grade video, promotion party coordination of food, decorations, games, set-up, break down, and the June 12th breakfast. If you would like to get involved to support the coordination of the events, please contact Inge Gonzales at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We will need parent/guardian permission form for participation in promotion festivities: promotion ceremony, promotion after-party, and 8th grade breakfast at CMS. These forms will be posted above - Parent Permission Form for Promotion Activities. We respectfully request you review and sign this document and have your child return it to their homeroom teacher no later than Friday, April 10th.
