Notes and Letters for CMS Military StudentsPosted by: Karin Mellina 11 months ago
April is the month of the Military child! CMS wants to celebrate the military youth in our community for their constant support and sacrifices that they make for their active duty and reserve parents. We are asking for families to submit an anonymous note or letter to CMS that acknowledges our students from a military family. You can submit a quick note of encouragement or are welcome to write a longer letter of ways the youth has shown support, patriotism, and grit. You can even get creative and make a poster or piece of artwork showing your gratitude! We are hoping to have a large amount of feedback from the community and ask that you submit the note by April 5th. If you hand write a note, you can submit it to the MFLC’s mailbox at CMS or can email a note or letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Military families are accustomed to constant changes, and we want them to be recognized for how they have adjusted and endured during these sometimes difficult changes, such as permanent-change-of-station moves, deployments and a parent’s training activities. The Military Family Life Counselor will have a booth out at lunch the first week of April to share these notes and letters so that our CMS students can read the appreciation from the adults in their lives.
Thank you for your contribution!
